How to delete your account and all your data

The fastest way: in the app

1. Open Pixel Plate.
2. Tap Me (bottom right).
3. Scroll to Privacy and tap Delete my account and data.
4. Tap Delete everything to confirm.

Everything is deleted straight away. The app then starts fresh, as if you had just installed it.

If you no longer have the app

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". If you can, include your Account ID (in the app: Me → About → Account ID). We will delete your data within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.

Pixel Plate does not ask for your name or email address, so we can only find your data with your Account ID. If you don't have it, tell us roughly when you last used the app and on which kind of phone, and we will do our best.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile (body details, goal, settings and consents)
• Your food diary and weigh-ins
• Your scan history, corrections and saved portion sizes
• Any meal photos you allowed us to keep

What is kept

Shared learning statistics, such as "this dish is usually logged as that food", are kept. They only count how often something happened across many people and contain nothing that links them to you. Crash reports and server logs that may include your Account ID expire on their own within about 90 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
